Obituary of Richard W. Pursley
Richard Warren Pursley 95 of Manchester Twp. passed away October 30, 2016. Mr. Pursley was born in Jersey City, he resided in Somerset before moving to Manchester. He is retired from Colgate-Palmolive. A WWII Navy veteran having served in the Pacific Theater. He was a member and Past Master of Zarabeth Lodge F.&A.M. in Jersey City. Son of the late Samuel & Amanda Pursley Surviving are his loving wife of 70 years Pearl Connin Pursley Children, Kenneth W. Pursley & Dominique Steffens of Napa, CA Linda & Robert Corbo of Hamilton Glenn & Denise Pursley of Massapequa, NY 6 grandchildren Sean Pursley, Victoria Pursley, Lauren Jackson, Robert Corbo, Brian Pursley, Christopher Pursley. 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, 2946 South Broad St. Hamilton. Rev. Ian Hill will officiate. Interment will be in BGWCD Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday 2:00 - 4:00 and again 7:00 - 9:00pm at the funeral home Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, alz.org
