Nestore J. (Ernie) Petrangeli II A loving and devoted father, grandfather, brother & friend, Ernie Petrangeli, Jr., 90 died peacefully on Sunday, October 02, 2016. His warm & loving family was by his side. He was blessed with health for most of his years. You do your highest number of push-ups and Ernie would do one more. After serving 3 years in the Navy, he returned home and with his two brothers, Albert & Angelo & sister Rene, they owned & operated the Revere Restaurant on River Road for 42 years. This was a thriving business that their parents originally established in 1936. Born in Trenton, Yardville was his home for 60 years & this is where Ernie & his dear wife, Lucy raised their 4 children. As a family, they enjoyed trips to the Jersey shore & cheering for their kids in the local youth sports programs. Ernie was an excellent assistant armchair coach for the NY Yankees. Florida excursions with Lucy were treasured along with going to the track & casino together. Both Ernie and Lucy will be remembered as the beautiful and caring people that they were. Family was always first. Part of his extended family included Mary, Vicki and his many friends at The Squirrel's Nest. The family wants to extend a heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Gary Karlin for helping Ernie go strong for his last 13 years. Son of the late Nestore & Mary Petrangeli, Ernie was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife, Lucy Naples Petrangeli. And also his sister Rene Woolman. He is survived by his two brothers, Albert and his wife, Rose Marie of Yardley, Pa. along with Angelo and his special partner, Patricia Jones, also from Yardley, his daughter Mary Lou and son-in-law Wayne Van Camp of Yardville, and his 3 sons & daughters-in-law, Ernie and Angela Petrangeli of Yardville, Frank Petrangeli of Hamilton and Bonnie Petrangeli from Washington Township and John & Lily Petrangeli of Hamilton.
