Gail Doan Duvin, 87 of Lawrenceville passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, December 30th. Daughter of the late George W Sr. and Dorothy Applegate Doan, sister of the late George W Doan Jr., Gloria M Johnson, Grace E Lewis, Edward H Doan Sr., and Robert Doan III, and mother-in-law of the late Bruce Harrison. Gail loved her family dearly and is survived by her three children Julia Harrison, Dorothy Miller (Michael Miller Sr.) of Hamilton, Steven J Duvin of Lawrenceville, and her two grandchildren Michael Miller Jr. (Melissa Gerber) of Hamilton and Michelle Harrison (Brad Zimmermann), and siblings Dale T Doan of North Carolina and Gary R Doan (Isabella Doan) of Hamilton, as well as many nieces and nephews. Gail, fondly known to everyone as "Grams" was born and raised in Lawrenceville, NJ. As a lifelong resident of the town, this is where she raised her family, showcased her passion for the community, and welcomed dear friends throughout her life. Gail graduated from Princeton High School. She spent 25 years of her career at RCA, followed by ETS for another decade, and prior to retirement, she managed her own cleaning business. In addition to her love of family, community and friends, Gail had a passion for adventure and being outdoors. She was an avid Golfer, enjoyed cross-country skiing, and as a young girl loved to go fishing and hunting, and stock car racing with her siblings. She also had a love for the animals that came into her life including her dogs Honey, Cosmo, Barney, Merlin the Magician, and Boone. Gail will be remembered for her kindness, love and generosity. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 14th, and calling hours are from 5:00pm - 8:00pm at Knott's Funeral Home. 2946 South Broad Street, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
