Obituary of Timothy R. Filor
Please share a memory of Timothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Timothy R. Filor
It was the year 1958 and Charles & Alice Filor had just given birth to their 2nd son,
Timothy R. Filor in Trenton, NJ. How blessed they were that their older son, "Chip" now has a
brother. The Filor family resided in Bordentown Twp. As a young boy he worked at the Tuccillo
farm where he earned his horses "keep" was in various horse shows, and you would find your
daily newspaper on your front porch that Tim or his buddy "BJ" would have delivered. He
cherished his favorite dog, Chumley. Growing up on Vine Way is where Tim met many of his
lifelong friends that he has stayed in touch with over the years.
Anyone hanging out at the "wall" on Thorntown Lane can remember Tim driving past in his first
hot rod - his beloved oldsmobile.
Tim attended Bordentown Regional High School where he graduated in 1977 at which time he
started his career at Bordentown Auto Body. Tim married Kerry Tunney in 1990 and they
pitched their tent right across the bridge in Levittown, PA. Tim & Kerry's Wedding Reception
was held at Princeton Country Club and was a Party to remember as we are still talking about it
to this day! As the owner of Sellingers Garage in Morrisville, PA Tim was available to all that
reached out for towing for Morrisville & Falls Twp. areas. Tim & Kerry would cross the bridge
many nights as Tim was known to all as the "bouncer"
at any of the Tunney parties until 1992 when his first born son, Joshua entered the
World. Just a couple years later Tim was overjoyed when Kerry gave birth to a beautiful
baby girl, Juliana and then another son who is now the man of the house, Jacob a/k/a
Jake Man.
In 2002 Tim and family in tow crossed the bridge again and settled in a beautiful home that
they still reside in North Hanover Twp. Tim retired in 2023 from Timco Carriers. Tim enjoyed
his Catamaran and Skiing in Colorado. His entire life he was a hard worker with a strong work
ethic & if he wasn't cutting the grass or working on his truck, you would find him on the
sidelines cheering on his children who always came first. Last October Tim was blessed once
again when his daughter Juliana (husband RJ) gave birth to a grandson, Lincoln Thomas.
Lincoln's older sister, Lyla Grace has brought such joy to the entire family over the last few
years. His eldest son, Joshua and Kaitlin are residing in Tampa where Tim enjoyed visiting. His
youngest son, Jake resides in North Hanover and has the task of taking care of the home, the
yard and his beautiful Mother!
On Friday afternoon in Hopewell as the rain fell from the skies, Tim was needed elsewhere.
The Lord looked down and whether it was a broken down truck, an unkempt lawn, or something
that needed to be fixed, it was time for Tim to walk that Stairway to Heaven. We will all miss
Him dearly, but the thought of Tim being reunited with his brother, Chip, his amazing Mother
and his father that he so deeply loved and took care of until the day he passed right there
On Vine Way...it truly is "The Circle of Life". In lieu of flowers, spend time with your family and
be sure to raise a glass to Tim!
