Joseph Raniolo, 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 31st, 2020, at the Mercerville Nursing Home in Hamilton, NJ. Joe was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in the Bronx, NY. As a young boy, he worked at Marconi Bros., the family furniture upholstery shop, in Manhattan. He joined the Army and served during the Korean Conflict, stationed at Fort Dix. This is where he met his wife, Theresa. They were married in 1951 at St. James Church in Trenton, NJ. After being honorably discharged, Joe worked for Diamond Brothers Furniture. The shop moved in 1958 to Reading, PA, and they relocated there. They moved back to Trenton in 1970. And then moved to Hamilton, NJ, in 1976. Joe retired from the Lambert Furniture Corp in 1996. During his retirement years, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Joe was predeceased by his parents, Salvatore and Antonette (Maccarone) Raniolo, his second mother, Catherine (Battaglia) Raniolo, his brothers Frank and Paul, his sister Jennie Dikovitch and his wife Theresa. Joe is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and David Sensi, his grandchildren, Dean and Amanda Sensi and several nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, there was a private, graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery on April 3, 2020. Services were provided by Knott's Colonial Funeral Home.
