Obituary of Joseph J. Gallagher

Joseph J. Gallagher Sr. of Hamilton passed away peacefully November 17, 2023 with his family by his side. He was 75 years old and preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Gallagher. His brother Kevin Gallagher. Joseph resided in New Jersey and worked as a car salesman for over 30 years at Haldeman Ford in East Windsor. Everyone who met him fell in love with his humor and smile. He made everyone feel like family. One of his favorite places to visit was the casino. His greatest joy was being with his family and telling stories that would leave everyone rolling with laughter. He was proud of his children and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Surviving are his sister Eileen Gallagher. His partner Elizabeth Pane. Son, Joseph J. Gallagher Jr. Daughter and son in law Michele and Richard Kitner. Daughter Danielle Gallagher. 4 grandchildren, Gabriel, Nicholas, Morgan and Samuel. His former wife Amelia Gallagher. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Wednesday at St. Anthony's Church, 626 South Olden Ave, Trenton, NJ. Relatives and friends may call 9:30am until mass at the church. Interment will be private, Arrangements are by Knott's Colonial Funeral Home, Hamilton.
