I met Kassandra at Brook Glenn Behavioral Hospital around March 2022. She was someone who had her own share of struggles but she was not alone in her grievances with the world. We only kept in touch once after the fact, but the idea that she even reached out in the first place and that I got to share some time with her at the facility during a transformative period in my life resonates with me to this day. She'll be remembered not for her trials and tribulations, but for how eagerly she spread kindness and her desire to make changes in her life. We are not meant to be judged by our failures nor should we be judged for the way we fall. The fact that any of us even tried to begin with is what counts. I'll keep on " ballin' " for you, Kassandra. If I don't, who will?

Kassandra was a part of the high school theatre program where I teach and direct. She was incredibly kind, loving and creative. I’ll never forget her bright smile and enthusiasm! I’m thankful for the time I had with her in room 302. Her light will be sorely missed.

I never got the opportunity to get to know Kassandra, but I was well aware of her being an important member of our online community, and I've never even heard as much as a whisper of a bad word about her. Kassandra was always such a sweet person, I wasn't close with her myself but I always knew her as an amazing person. Many people cared about her as she cared for them. I wish I was closer to her in the time I knew her. Miss you kassy <3

Kassandra was one of the fist people I met online we shared many laughs together and i will never forget the time we played games together, she was there for me we I needed to talk to someone and was a true friend to me and I can't thank her enough for that. I wish we didn't drift apart and that I was a better friend she deserved better from me, thank you for everyone who was a better friend than me she dissevered you. miss u doc <3

Our interactions usually happened when we would play games together late at night, but one of the things I remember most about those interactions was how kind she was to myself and those around her. My thoughts go out to her friends and family. Rest well, Doctor.

Kassandra was one of the most warm and welcoming people I've known.
We played some games together, and she shared her love for Disney World and finally being able to go.
I don't think I've talked to anyone who was that excited about anything in my life.
She was always kind, and full of joy, and I was lucky to have known her.

Kassandra was an amazing person. She was so warm and fun to be around, among many other wonderful attributes. I have many fond memories of her that I will never forget.
My heart goes out to everyone that was close to her - especially, Jeff, Kim, Josh and Jessica. I'm thinking of you all.

Kass, Doctor, you were an amazing friend when I needed one the most and I wish I could have been there when you needed a friend too. At your best you were hilarious, warm and too caring.

You could light up the room with your zest for life and that infectious smile!
Gosh, just a few short weeks with you gave the rest of our club hope. You played a mean game of dodge ball and relished at the chance to participate in a board game.
You often talked in your sleep but only God knew what you were saying.
Your love for animals was like no other. My puppies adored you, and you them.
You called me nana Sue and I will forever be grateful for that title.
Though we may never truly understand why, we know your soul is at peace and you can dance with the angels.

Kass had the biggest smile. She loves to play games. I remember a card came we all played and she could count those cards like nobody's business..in her head! I was still calculating with a
paper and pencil. LOL.
