Maria Prummer, 84, of Hamilton, passed away on July 1, 2023.
Born in Yugoslavia, she moved to Heidelberg, Germany in 1945 with her family. She immigrated to the United States in 1952. Maria was a member of the German American Society, and the Donauschwaben. She lived in Fountain Hills, Arizona, for 16 years. Maria enjoyed sewing, was an avid reader, and has traveled to every continent.
Daughter of the late John and Katherina (Flesch) Schlapp, and mother of the late Jason A. Prummer.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Albert A. Prummer, her son Albert S. Prummer and his wife Julie of Cookeville, TN, her daughter Heidi Muscente and her husband Nicholas of Hopewell, grandchildren Morgan and Thomas Prummer, Nicholas, Justin, Nolan, and Michael Muscente, her cousin Peter Lohrbach and his wife Claire of Florida, and many friends.
Funeral Services and interment in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery was held privately for the family. Arrangements are under the care of Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org).
