My sincere condolences to John’s family in the loss of your dear loved one. I knew John through my many visits to his store while driving for Acme. I looked forward to his smile of surprise when he opened the door and saw me, then we’d have plenty of laughter while catching up. I regret not having seen him since before I retired. I remember the times at McDonald's on Route 33. John and I worked together for about 3 years. We both worked the afternoon shift/closing. I remember going to get pizza after work or a donut from Dunkin Donuts. We traveled to New Hampshire to see an old Manager from McDonald's. Just a couple years ago we reconnected, I am in NC, John was in NJ. We were suppose to meet for lunch in Tuckerton a couple years ago, but it didn't happen. John was a good friend. Rick

So very sorry to hear of Jays passing. I am a long time neighbor of Saybrook Avenue and we used to call him Jay when we were growing up. Our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time. May He Rest in peace

Words can say how deeply sorry I am on Johns passing My Greatest memory of John is on night crew when he would talk about Kate and Kris I don’t think I ever since s father light up like he did telling me any they were up to or their get togethers know you were love beyond compare ! Kate and Krista. What can I say. I’m so sorry about the loss of your father. We use to have sips much fun at Nottingham with the marching unit. He was such a great person to know. Words can’t express how i feel. He will be sadly missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. I spent the summer after graduation working with him. He used to make me cheeseburgers with extra pickles, more like pickle sandwiches. We hung out a few times that summer. Such a nice guy.
