Obituary of Gary S. McDonald

Gary S. McDonald, 68, of Conway, SC, formerly of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on December 5, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, Gary lived in Hamilton for most of his life before moving to Myrtle Beach 8 years ago. He was a graduate of St. Anthony's High School and Notre Dame University. Son of the late Daniel W. and Anna (Caravetta) McDonald, and brother-in-law of the late Kathleen Swick, he is survived by his loving wife of almost 48 years, Linda (Pietras) McDonald, his children Christopher McDonald and his wife Christine, Jesse McDonald and his wife Glenda Chavez, and Kevin McDonald, grandchildren Noah McDonald, Abigail McDonald, and Luca Luciano, his siblings David McDonald and his wife Kathy, Daniel McDonald and his wife Naisha, and Patricia Tuccillo and her husband Joseph, brothers and sisters in law John and Linda Pietras, Michael and Diane Pietras, Albert Swick, Jim and Kathleen Pietras, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 11:00am at St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church 555 Yardville Allentown Rd. Hamilton, NJ 08620. Interment of cremains will follow the mass at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to www.hopereborn.org.
