Obituary of Catherine M. Kublick

Catherine Marie (Blisko) Kublick, 96, of Mercerville, NJ peacefully passed away Tuesday, June 28th, 2022 at Serenity Hospice Care at RWJ Hospital in Hamilton, NJ.
She was born in Trenton, NJ and was raised at St. Michael's Orphanage in Hopewell, NJ from the age of 11-16 after the death of her mother in 1937. She finished school through the 11th grade, but then went to work to help support the family. Catherine had done factory work for many years including the Switlik Parachute Company where she sewed parachutes for World War II and also typed (self-taught) the instructions for the lifeboats.
Catherine loved bingo, going to the casinos and seeing Elvis impersonator Doug Church's performances, animals, coloring, sewing, crocheting and collecting/selling just about anything at flea markets.
Predeceased by her parents, Paul M. Sr. and Anna (Coluccio) Blisko; her husband, Rudolph Kublick of 61 years; her siblings and their spouses: Marie and Edward Anderson; Virginia and Richard Flynn; Pauline and William Cooper; Dolores and Joseph Hartmann; Paul M. Blisko, Jr. and Barbara Blisko Hillmann; her nephews Joseph Hartmann, III and Kenneth Hartmann; and her beloved cat Shelby.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews: Virginia Popp, Catherine Cooper, William Cooper, Jr., Grace Cooper, Debra Lutz, Gary Cooper, Ann Hartmann, Michele Hartmann, Paul Hartmann, Timothy Hartmann, Denise Hartmann, Richard Hartmann and Paul M. Blisko, III; their spouses, children and grandchildren; many devoted friends and niece-dog McKenzie Skye Cooper.
Private chapel service was held at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ with family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA.org), an organization close to Catherine's heart.
