Obituary of Jesus Torres

Jesus Torres, 79, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at his home on June 26, 2022. Born in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico, he has been an area resident since 1963. Jesus was employed by and retired from the Trenton State Prison as a Senior Corrections Officer. He loved playing the guitar, taking walks, and spending time with his family. Jesus is survived by his loving wife Tina (Psalto) Torres of Hamilton, his daughter Francina Torres of Hamilton, son Nicholas Torres of Hamilton, son Samuel Torres of Florida, son David Torres of Florida, step-son Christian Rivera (Molly) of Hamilton, step-daughter Jamie Rivera (David) of Hamilton, 8 grandchildren, his sister who raised him Cristina Torres of Puerto Rico, brother Victor Nabris of Florida, many nieces and nephews, and special friend Jose Rivera of Trenton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, July 1, 2022 at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad Street Hamilton, NJ 08610. A calling hour for family friends will be from 10:00am until 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton.
