Obituary of Doreen E. Walsh

Doreen E. Walsh, 48, of Hamilton, passed away on May 8, 2021. Born in Trenton, she has been an area resident all of her life. She was a graduate of Hamilton High West, Class of 1990, where she was captain of the cheerleading team. She was an avid New York Yankees fan, and she loved to shop. Doreen was a kind hearted and caring person, a proud mother, and was a loving and doting grandmother to her granddaughter, Layla. Daughter of the late Michael A. Walsh, sister of the late Michael F. Walsh, she is also pre-deceased by her beloved dog, "Bosko". She is survived by her loving children Anthony Stull of Hamilton, Sandra Stull (Cliff Benningfield) of Hamilton, her mother Sandra (Costantini) Walsh of Hamilton, her granddaughter Layla Stull, her sister and brother-in-law Deborah and Joseph Jaruszewski of Hamilton, the father of her children Stephen Stull of Hamilton, nieces and nephews Emily, Amanda, and Mary Jaruszewski, and Matthew, Bailee, Brandon, and Connor Walsh, and many friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday, May14, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Knott's Colonial Funeral Home 2946 South Broad St., Hamilton. New York Yankees and/or casual attire is welcomed. The funeral will begin at 9:00am on Saturday, May 15, 2021 with the funeral service to start at 10:00am at the funeral home. Deacon Joseph Jaruszewski will officiate. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, 1200 Cedar Lane, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made the National MS Society (nationalmssociety.org).
