Obituary of Mary F. Lorenzo

Mary F. Lorenzo, age 89 passed away peacefully on April 22, 2021 at home. She was born on November 9, 1931, in Bristol, PA to Alessio "Alex" and Edvidge (Trotta) Frascella. Mary was pre-deceased by her parents, brother Victor and sister Jean Frascella. She was a graduate of Trenton High School, class of 1950. Upon graduation, she worked as a secretary for Mercer County, Probation office, commonly referred to as a Cracker Jack secretary. On June 12, 1954, Mary married Lawrence J. Lorenzo of Trenton, NJ. Mary lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures. Mary was a homemaker raising her four children, a dedicated and lifelong Philadelphia Phillies and Duke basketball fan. She attended ALL sporting events played by her grandchildren, and was famous for her delicious spaghetti sauce on Pasta night. Mary is survived by her loving husband Larry, children: Jeffrey Lorenzo, Lisa and Frank Pane, David and Anne Lorenzo and Mark Lorenzo. Her grandchildren: Andrea and Scott Sirak, Alyssa and Jeffrey Karczewski, Michael, Eric, and Lauren Lorenzo. Great-grandchildren: Parker & Francesca Sirak and Karson Karczewski. The family is appreciative for the care given by Mary's care-giver Kate, and special hospice nurse Joanna. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's Honor to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor New York, NY 10001. There will be a private service held for the family at Knott's Colonial Funeral home.
