I worked for Makrancy’s Landscaping as a teenager in the early 70’s and learned many fine work lessons which I held on to throughout my work career. He was tough but kind and such a hard worker himself.He was always known as “Big Lou” which was funny because his son, “Little Lou” was a man of considerable size himself. I will always credit my love of landscaping to this day to my time spent at Makrancy&Sons.
