I'm very sad to here about Jose's passing. We worked together at Amoco container, before it became Silgan. After I left the company in the late 1980's, I didn't keep in touch with the people that I had grown up with at Amoco. I knew nothing about being a maintenance person, and I felt that Jose took me under his wing, and taught me a lot about the job, and life. I thought the world of him, and truly regret not keeping in touch. I've thought of him often over the years, and will forever be grateful to him. I remember how proud he was of his children, and he spoke of them often. I'm lucky to have known him.
